Oh Little Drunk Me. That's simply my excuse for walking past this spot for a few years until stopping in for lunch on a whim. This place is lowkey very cool and maybe the hippest spot on the strip of White Plains. For al the cool vibes it sells, there is very LES manhattan style vibe to this venue. It's dark but accented with a  "vibrant garden neon flow" like I've never seen. Retro inspired but not over the top, I really enjoyed the presence.

Now to the eats and spirits. My bartender made me a slamming margarita with the all the trimmings, however he asked the question: what type of tequila? Perfect recipe for a good tip. Espolon with a double shot coming right up!

Off to the food. Yes wings and nachos with guac. Boring perhaps but when it comes to keeping a fine impression, I go small or go home. No need to mess with a great thing and over indulge (no pun intended. Wings and nachos hit the spot and were very tasty. Overrall, the 45 minute experience left me wanting so much more.

Happy Hour, night, weekend brunch? What is up.... stay tuned.  Sure there is more to come on this super gem.

CANTINA TACOS & TEQUILA

Let's start here: I love aqua blue on exteriors. Most inviting color to have people come in and just take a peak.  Yea thats my opener. Cantina's a good start to open up your day.

Low key and often not too busy, I find Cantina to be an ideal place to get away from it all. Roomy, long bar and well spaced out seating, the venue has a lot of promise. The food is pretty darn good and the service is always down for a conversation. The times that I've been there, I feel like there's alway some type of traffic going on...lol.

With all its potential, I feel like it's missing one thing: a vibe.  Don't get me wrong,  Cantina hits, but  just needs a tone to liven things up. With great marketing and some small adjustments, this venue has some potential to drive more clientele.

If your down for a new place to check out, give their tacos a try. Delicious!
